What Moves the Price of a Charter Flight
Charter is priced mostly by flight time on a given aircraft, then adjusted for fees and logistics around it. Our all-inclusive quotes roll every one of these into the number we give you, and we explain which ones are driving it.
We build each quote by phone from your route, dates and passenger count, then walk you through every line so there are no hidden costs. Prices change with aircraft availability, so we confirm the final number before you commit.
- Aircraft category
- Hourly operating cost grows with the airframe. Two turboprop engines use a small share of the fuel that a large-cabin jet's turbofans consume, and maintenance reserves scale the same way. Choosing the smallest cabin that fits your passengers, bags and range is the biggest lever on cost.
- Flight time and positioning
- You pay for the hours the aircraft flies your route, plus any time it spends flying empty to reach your departure airport or return to base. A jet already parked nearby usually prices lower.
- Overnights and crew days
- If the aircraft waits for you on a multi-day trip, the quote includes crew hotels, per diem and daily minimums. A same-day round trip avoids most of these.
- Airport and FBO fees
- Landing fees, ramp and handling charges, and hangar space vary by airport and FBO. We quote the specific facility so the line items are real, not estimates.
- Season and winter operations
- Holiday weekends and big event dates tighten aircraft supply. In Indiana winters, deicing fluid and hangar storage can add to a departure, and we include them when the forecast calls for it.
- Federal taxes and segment fees
- Commercial charter carries federal excise tax and per-passenger segment fees. They appear in your quote, not on a bill after you land.
Charter Aircraft for Every Trip Size
For 5 years we have arranged private flights, each one flown by an FAA-certified Part 135 air carrier. Turboprop charter fits quick hops and short runways, light jet charter handles regional business travel, and midsize jet charter brings a stand-up cabin and more range. For cross-country and international trips with bigger groups and more luggage, there is super-midsize jet charter and heavy jet charter, and empty leg flights put you on one-way repositioning legs.

Turboprop Charter
Pilatus PC-12 and King Air class aircraft for regional flights of a few hundred miles, with access to short runways that larger jets cannot use.

Light Jet Charter
Fast, efficient jets for small groups on trips of roughly one to three hours, quoted point to point with taxes and fees included.
Midsize Jet Charter
A larger cabin, an enclosed lavatory and nonstop range for half-continent trips, sized for groups of six to nine passengers.
Super-Midsize Jet Charter
Stand-up cabins and nonstop coast-to-coast range for groups of 8 to 10, quoted point to point with fees, taxes and crew costs built in.
Heavy Jet Charter
Large-cabin jets for big groups and nonstop long-range or international flights, with crew, permits and customs paperwork planned before departure.
Empty Leg Flights
Ride a jet that is already flying your way. We find repositioning legs, check who operates them and quote the one-way seat with every fee shown.
How a Charter Comes Together
Most trips go from first call to confirmed aircraft in four steps. The detail work happens on our side.
- 1
Tell us the trip
Call with your departure and destination, dates, times, number of passengers, bags and any pets. Flexible times or a nearby alternate airport can widen the aircraft options.
- 2
We match aircraft and check compliance
We look at available aircraft in the right category, confirm each operator and tail number, and check crew duty limits and runway length for your airports.
- 3
Review your all-inclusive quote
We go over the quote by phone, line by line, including positioning, fees and taxes. If a different aircraft or departure time saves money, we say so.
- 4
Fly from the FBO
On the day, you drive to the FBO, show photo ID and walk to the aircraft, usually without a terminal or security line. Your pilots brief you on safety before engine start.

A Charter Desk That Explains the Rules
We are a Pendleton charter company working from our office and by phone or video with executives, families and companies that need a private flight without signing up for a program. Our job is to find the right aircraft, check that it can legally and safely fly your trip, and give you a price that holds.
We spend as much time on the details people skip as on the cabin. That means duty-time math for the crew, runway performance on a cold morning, and whether your dog fits in the cabin under the operator's rules. Pets are allowed, and we can request WiFi equipped aircraft when you need to work in the air.

How We Keep Every Flight Legal and Every Quote Honest
Charter is a regulated commercial operation, and the rules decide which aircraft can fly you, which crew, and from which runway. We check those details before we quote, so the price you hear is a flight that can actually go.
- 01
We verify the operator, not just the airplane
Before we offer an aircraft, we confirm the operator's air carrier certificate and that the specific tail number is listed on its operations specifications. An aircraft that is not on that list cannot legally fly a paid charter, no matter how nice the cabin looks.
- 02
Crew duty limits are built into the schedule
Commercial pilots have strict limits on duty time and required rest. If your return leg runs late, a crew can time out. We plan departure times around those limits, and on long days we quote a second crew or an overnight up front instead of surprising you later.
- 03
Runway and weather checks before you book
Every aircraft has a minimum runway length that changes with weight, temperature and a wet or icy surface. We match the jet to an FBO it can use with a full load, so you are not bumped to a farther airport on the day.
- 04
A one-way leg is billed as one leg
Flying out and coming home another way is common, and the bill should reflect it. Round trip pricing does not apply to a single-leg trip with us. Our point-to-point pricing covers the legs you ask for, and if repositioning the aircraft adds cost, we tell you plainly.
- 05
No long-term commitments
There is no annual fee, no prepaid block of hours and no contract to sign. You call when you need a flight, and each trip stands on its own quote.

Flights can go anywhere the aircraft has the range and runway to reach. If your trip starts somewhere else entirely, we can still quote it point to point.
Charter Questions We Hear Most
- What does an all-inclusive quote include?
- It includes the aircraft and flight time, any positioning legs, crew costs, airport and FBO fees, federal excise tax and segment fees. If deicing or an overnight is likely, we include that too. The number we give you is the number you pay, with no hidden costs added after the flight.
- Do I have to sign up or prepay hours?
- No. There is no enrollment, no annual fee and no prepaid account. Each flight is booked on its own quote, and there are no long term commitments.
- If our jet is grounded before departure, who pays for the substitute?
- Aircraft sometimes fail a preflight check, and a grounded jet should not cost you the trip. The substitute flight is protected by mechanical insurance, which pays up to 100% of its cost. Our side of the job is finding another suitable aircraft and crew quickly so you can still get where you are going.
- How quickly can we fly?
- We take calls around the clock, and short-notice trips are often possible. How soon you can depart depends on where a suitable aircraft is parked and whether its crew has the required rest. We tell you honestly what is available when you call.
- What are empty leg flights?
- An empty leg happens when an aircraft has to fly without passengers to pick someone up or return to base. Those one-way legs can be booked at a lower cost than a standard charter. The tradeoff is that the route and time are set by the original trip, so they suit flexible travelers.
- Can I bring my dog?
- Yes, pets are welcome on our flights. Cabin floor space and each operator's own pet policy shape which aircraft we can offer, so mention how many animals are coming and roughly how big they are during the call. Pack a crate or leash, and carry any health records your destination asks for.
- Will we have WiFi on board?
- We offer WiFi equipped aircraft. Connection speed depends on the onboard system and where you fly, so tell us if you need video calls and we will match the aircraft to that.
